PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER
Job Description
The Public Relations Manager provides a range of core functions within the Communications Team. S/he is a behaviour change specialist with direct responsibility for ensuring that demand generation components of service delivery events succeed in attracting high numbers of clients for reproductive health services. S/he is also responsible for event management and management of MST’s engagement with journalists for print media, radio and TV for behaviour change outcomes

Job Requirements
• At least three years of previous experience in a professional communications capacity
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of how to communicate and engage with the public on health issues
• Proven track record on managing and delivering both large, stand-alone events and also managing frequent event planning over time
• Minimum of a University Degree; Master Degree is preferable
• Proven track record on effective behavior change communication
• Knowledge and understanding of the different perspectives and attitudes found in Tanzania regarding reproductive health care
• Previous experience in working for a clinical organization an advantage
• Previous experience or knowledge of working for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights [SRHR] an advantage
• Fluent English and Kiswahili both oral and written
• Clinical/medical qualification an advantage but not a requirement
